Co-Director PJ Vande Rydt has coached football for over 25 years. After seven years as the head middle school coach in Westwood (46 wins 6 losses), he decided to take his talents to Xaverian Brothers (40 wins and 5 losses) where he was the head coach for 6 years and was instrumental starting and building their middle school program. His enthusiasm for football was the catalyst for him becoming the State Director of Football University (FBU), one of the top youth and high school football camps in the US. He started the first 7th and 8th grade FBU National Championship teams. His 8th grade teams made it to the Final Four in San Antonio, Texas in the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons and to the final four in Naples in 2016. PJ is the former owner of Athletic Republic Norwood, one of the top sports performance training facilities in Mass which trains some of the top HS football players in the state.

Bill Crabtree has coached football at the high school and youth levels since 1983. He started his coaching career at Westwood High School where he helped lead them to the school’s first ever Super Bowl title in 1984. He has coached Westwood Pop Warner for 3 years and the Norfolk Vikings for 10 with an overall record of 110-19 record as a head coach. The last five seasons were spent in Walpole coaching the 8th grade team to a 43-11 record, winning the MA State title in 2014. In addition, Coach Crabtree was the head coach of the 8th grade Team MA FBU team in the FBU National Tournament from 2010-2013 posting a 9-3 record and reaching the final four in San Antonio in 2012. Coach Crabtree’s primary goal is to make football a positive experience for all involved.
