Providing Opportunities for Underprivileged Student-Athletes

Mass Elite Football, a  prominent institution in the development of middle school football players aspiring to attend private schools, has expanded its reach with the establishment of The Opening Doors Foundation. This registered 501(c)(3) organization, founded by PJ vande Rydt and  Bill Crabtree, aims to be a catalyst for underprivileged student athletes by offering scholarships for participation in All Star teams and providing partial scholarships for access to private schools.

Since its inception in 2012, Mass Elite Football has been a key stepping stone for emerging  talent in middle school football, helping them to gain admission to private schools where they can further develop their skills and education. The Opening Doors Foundation builds upon this legacy by striving to make such opportunities accessible to student  athletes who face financial constraints.

The Foundation's primary goal is to bridge the financial gap for underprivileged athletes,  ensuring they have a chance to excel in their chosen sports while also benefiting from a private school education. By providing scholarships for participation in All Star teams, The Opening Doors Foundation aims to foster talent and offer an avenue for these  athletes to showcase their skills on a broader stage.

In addition to All Star team opportunities, the Foundation will also provide partial scholarships  for underprivileged student athletes to attend private schools. These scholarships will empower students to access quality education and athletic training, which may otherwise be beyond their reach.

PJ vande Rydt and Bill Crabtree, co-owners of Mass Elite Football, are committed to making  a difference in the lives of young athletes. The Opening Doors Foundation is a testament to their dedication and belief in the transformative power of sports and education. 

Our Mission
Since 2012, Mass Elite Football has been dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives  of young men through football and education. The addition of the "Opening Doors Foundation" as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit reaffirms our commitment to change lives.
 
Our Primary Mission
We provide scholarships that enable deserving student-athletes to:
  • Attend clinics
  • Join Mass Elite All-Star teams
  • Gain access to private schools. 
    -Provide financial assistance to private schools
Success Stories
Over the years, we've achieved remarkable success, helping over a hundred student-athletes  that either attend our clinics or play on our elite teams to private schools where they excel academically and pursue their football dreams. Our alumni proudly represent Division I institutions like Notre Dame, Michigan, Stanford, Penn State, Harvard, Yale,  and many others. Additionally, our graduates excel at Division IAA, Division II, and Division 3 schools.
